Eccleshall Hand-Bell Ringers

Eccleshall Ladies Handbell Ringers was formed during the mid 1970s by Clara Jackson, the wife of the then vicar of Holy Trinity, Rev. Roland Jackson, and her friend Ruth Boulton. They had found a small set of  eight handbells in the Church and decided to do something with them. Over the years the group expanded and flourished and eventually they were able to buy the full set of  Whitechapel bells which we now use. The original set of bells were returned to the bell tower of Holy Trinity. Over the years we have performed many concerts and attended and hosted Hand-bell rallies.
